I am a very stubborn kinda person!
And when I form an opinion, I vehematically am super vocal about it Else a #facePalm moment awaits me, like what happened last friday.
First a little background:
I make joke of anything except Ayurveda, when it comes to medical treatment. Be it allopathy, reiki, homeopathy just about whatever. Simply because Ayurveda is the grandest, and most proven scientific medical system the world could ever have!
I have opinion for every other treatment:
Context:
So I have been taking this homeopathic medicine for urea with little success(read: self medication), I started it after acknowleding the feedback from everyone that I am stubborn and also the reports were bad, so I gave it a try.
#FacePalm Moment
So last friday, I happen to meet this homeopathic doctor : very elderly sardaarji, totally calm and composed. Given my usual attitude, I was ready to have some testing of their knowledge.
Already miffed with my reports, I said, "bring it on" and so, this doctor uncle, spent a comfortable 45 minutes understanding my problem. His questions were 8/10 regarding my condition, but seeing that he was quite precise in his own knowledge I started fully cooperating and stopped being my usual stubborn self. This doctor uncle, quoted me references from two of his books(he opened them asked me to read couple of pages) to dissolve my doubts. This doctor uncle fully knew : talk wont work with me, so he showed me books and explained my points very very scientifically(afterall I am stubborn because of science). I finally got to know the reason behind pungent smells and homeopathy medicines not going hand-in-hand together. Further a small feud erupted over what is definition of veg and paneer veg(vegan?).. Which I think I won.
So to summarize: I was still stubborn, but my #facepalm moment came, as me who used to make fun of everything except ayurveda, is now dependent on only homeopathy medicines and not even ayurveda for getting rid of allopathy. Phew! There I said it.
Yes, you read it right, I have taken the radical step to completely be cured by homepathy medicines and its been going very well for the past 2-3 days!
The face saver for me: The doctor uncle said : homepathy is after all ayruveda. So I win again!!
This has fuelled my next step in a big way!

- reiki :: Like an old CRT experiencing a strong magnetic field around it
- homeopathy :: Just sweet candy.
